How to take your measurements correctly and know your measurements after giving birth?

To find out what size you are, you will need to take certain measurements: chest, waist and hips.

Get yourself a measuring tape and make sure you take the measurements while standing up.

Next, place the measuring tape around the part of your body you want to measure, holding it firmly and without bending it. The measurement should be taken at the point where the tape crosses over itself.

1. The chest

Stand up straight and place the measuring tape horizontally and flat across your chest at the fullest part of your breasts. It should pass under your armpits and over your shoulder blades.

2. The size

Take your measuring tape and place it around your waist. If you're having trouble finding your natural waistline, stand up straight and bend to the side: the point where your body bends is your natural waist, that is, the narrowest part of your torso, at its most indented. Ideally, the tape measure should pass between your ribcage and your navel. Make sure the tape measure lies flat around your waist, without pulling it too tight (you should be able to fit at least one finger between the tape measure and the other). For an accurate measurement, don't pull in your stomach.

3. The hips

Place the measuring tape around your hips at their widest point. Generally, the hip measurement is measured about 20 centimeters from the waist, at the level of the pelvic region. For some women, it will be lower, at the level of the buttocks.
